Expected to open in the first quarter of 2025, construction of the Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital campus is progressing on the north side of Hwy. 290 between Barker Cypress and Skinner roads in Cypress. Construction began about a year ago in February 2022.

The 105-acre site will be home to a seven-story hospital, two six-story medical office buildings, a central utility plant and additional space for future growth, officials said.

The 569,100-square-foot hospital will open with 100 beds but will have the capacity to expand up to 276 licensed beds. One medical office building will feature a cancer center, and the other will include an orthopedics and sports medicine center.

Community Impact previously reported this hospital was designed as a “hospital of the future,” with a focus on technology. Visit www.houstonmethodist.org/locations/cypress for more information.
