Editor's note: This article has been updated to correctly reflect the number of people Cy-Fair Helping Hands serves each month.

As the cost of living rises, local nonprofit Cy-Fair Helping Hands has gone from serving 1,200 individuals per month to more than 3,300 individuals per month in the past few months, officials with the Cy-Fair Fire Department said in a news release.

To help support this community organization, the CFFD is hosting a food drive at all fire stations Nov. 1-20.

Families in need can provide proof of local residence and income to access CFHH’s food pantry. For more information, visit www.cyfairhelpinghands.org.
