Two Cy-Fair nonprofits are hosting school supply drives this summer to reduce back-to-school costs for families in the area.
Cy-Fair Helping Hands
The organization will be accepting donations for school supplies through July 31. People who can help with new backpacks and supplies are encouraged to drop their donations at their office at 9204 Emmott Road, Houston, or at 12923 Enchanted Drive, Cypress, Mon.-Thu. 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Cypress Assistance Ministries
Cypress Assistance Ministries holds an annual supply drive to reduce the cost of supplies and backpacks for low-income families. The organization will be accepting donations from June 17-Aug. 5 at 12930 Cypress N. Houston Road, Cypress.
