The Cy-Fair ISD board of trustees voted 7-0 during the March 4 meeting to approve the administration's recommendation for open campuses designated for student transfers for 2024-25.

CFISD Director of General Administration Scott Tucker said recommendations are based on enrollment projections, historical data, trends and demographic information.

While students are assigned to a schools according to the location of their primary residence, if a student desires to attend a different school, the district has student transfer options available here.

The timeline

Students wishing to transfer can apply April 1-June 28.Completed transfer requests with the requested proof of residency may be submitted to a campus registrar, or sent via email to [email protected].

Requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Designated campuses each have a limited number of transfer slots available, according to the website.
