During the March 7 Cy-Fair ISD board work session, the board received a list of proposed campuses to be designated as open to voluntary transfer students for the 2022-23 school year. The list consists of 50 schools that were perceived to have the capacity to accept transfer students—seven fewer schools than last year.

The following list is based on enrollment and capacity at each campus, Chief of Staff Teresa Hull said schools selected to be open for the upcoming school year were selected based upon availability and aims to meet the needs of students, parents and employees with children enrolled at CFISD. Transportation services are not provided to students who take advantage of the voluntary transfer process.

The district slated transfer applications to be made available April 1 and can be accessed online or at the registrar's office. The transfer window will close June 1.
