Jersey Village’s new clubhouse at Jersey Meadow Golf Club is anticipated to be completed near April, Assistant City Manager Robert Basford said via email Dec. 1.
In a nutshell
In July, the city broke ground on the project, which will also include a new pro shop, office space, a new bar and grill, new bathrooms, event space, and storage, Community Impact previously reported.
The project is still on track to cost around $8.72 million, Basford said.
What else?
After the new clubhouse is completed, the city will begin work to renovate the old clubhouse building, Basford said. That project is anticipated to wrap up around early fall 2024.
Quote of note
“We are moving rather quickly with the construction, and the weather has been in our favor,” Basford said via email. “We are at the sheetrock phase and almost at the permanent power phase. The building is framed and walled, and the roof has been completed. The masonry work is in progress as of now.”
