Officials with Caldwell Companies announced in July that four new businesses would join an already lengthy list of tenants at the Boardwalk at Towne Lake. Two restaurants, a boutique and a real estate agent will join the mix as early as September. An Israeli mini-burger eatery, Burgerim, will open in the fall and plans on serving vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. Breakfast Brunch Cafe—which already has a location at 12904 Fry Road, Ste. 600, Cypress—will be expanding into the Boardwalk. The restaurant serves up everything from eggs benedict to beignets to truffle fries. The Royal Standard will open as a vendor of fashion accessories and home goods inspired by British culture and trends. Owners Mark and Krista Pierce opened their first location in Baton Rouge in 1998, and will open this Cypress location in the fall. Houston locals may recognize the shop as a popular vendor at the Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market, an annual event taking place each November at NRG Center. Cindy Baker is opening an office for Key Harbor Properties in suite 270 and plans to open for business by September 1. She said she chose to come to the Boardwalk because of the family-oriented aspects surrounding the office space. “I wanted to choose a place that is family-friendly,” Baker said. “The personality fits perfectly.” Ambience Wellness Spa—an already announced tenant that will be located in suite 200—plans to host its soft opening in late July or early August, and will be operating under regular hours by late August. The Boardwalk at Towne Lake is located at 9955 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress, at the northwest corner of Barker Cypress and Tuckerton roads.
