Officials in Cy-Fair ISD reported 61 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 during the fifth week of the school year Oct. 5-11, including 25 staff members and 35 students across the district.

This brings the district’s total number of reported cases to 152 since the start of the school year Sept. 8. Based on face-to-face learning enrollment, about 0.17% of students and 0.46% of district employees have contracted the virus.
