Two new members will officially join the Jersey Village City Council on May 13, following canvassing and the council's declaration of the results of the recent general election.
What you need to know
The voting period to elect the new City Council members concluded May 2, with the unofficial results showing Michael Brittain and Brian McCauley winning their respective races for Places 1 and 5, as previously reported by Community Impact. Incumbent Connie Rossi ran unopposed for Place 4.
The newly elected officials will receive their certificate of election and perform their oath of office to assume their seats at the upcoming regular meeting.
Outgoing council members Drew Wasson and Jennifer McCrea will receive recognition and presentation of service awards as their time on the council has concluded, as previously reported by Community Impact.

Adoption of the 2025 Harris County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan is up for approval, with the intent of mitigating hazards to the community, including but not limited to:
- Flooding
- Hurricanes
- Droughts
- Extreme temperatures
