There are several places serving ice cream and cold treats in the Cypress and Cy-Fair area to beat the heat this summer. This list is not comprehensive.
La Argentina Gelato
Founded by Florencia Mansilla, La Argentina offers a variety of gelato flavors she created, including pistachio, dulce de leche, Belgian chocolate and salted caramel. The ice cream shop also offers treats such as smoothies, banana splits and brownies with gelato. In addition, La Argentina offers coffee, specialty lattes and teas as well as empanadas.

Connie's Frozen Custard
Owned by Keri Jackman and Matthew Greatens, Connie's Frozen Custard offers frozen custard with ingredients from the Midwest, including vanilla and chocolate frozen custard prepared daily. Frozen custard can be customized with over 50 toppings, such as nuts, syrups and candy.
Falooda Fiesta offers over 15 street food options and 50 ice cream variations made in-house. Menu items offered include artisan paletas, milkshakes and a variety of Indian street food options, including samosas and wraps.

Jeremiah's Italian Ice
With over 100 locations nationwide, Jeremiah's Italian Ice offers a variety of Italian treats such as soft ice cream, "jelatis" made with layers of Italian ice and soft ice cream and over 40 layers of Italian ice. A few flavors offered include horchata, cherry, lemon, coconut and root beer.

La Michoacana Auténtica
Originally from Michoacan, Mexico, husband and wife Jorge Padilla and Vanessa Padilla opened La Michoacana Auténtica on Jones Road to share a part of their culture with the community in 2019. La Michoacana Auténtica offers menu items such as cookies and cream, banana pudding, cheesecake, mango with chile, arroz con leche or rice and milk, pecan, and Gansito.

SweetCup Gelato and Sorbet Originale
Inspired by a trip to Italy, Jasmine Chida founded SweetCup Gelato and Sorbet Originale in Montrose in 2012 to bring authentic Italian-style gelato to the Houston area. The gelato shop offers 48 rotating flavors of gelato, sorbet and frozen yogurt made with ingredients imported from Italy as well as local ingredients.
