Voters in Jersey Village will get the opportunity to vote on three bond propositions during the Nov. 7 election after City Council unanimously approved calling for a bond election at its Aug. 21 meeting.

The gist

The city is proposing $52.9 million in bond projects, broken down into three propositions, according to the Aug. 21 agenda packet.

  • Pool and park renovations: $19 million
  • Water and sewer improvements: $15.8 million
  • Road and bridge repair: $18 million

According to the city’s website, the specific projects that would be funded with the bond include:

  • Rebuilding the city’s pool
  • Upgrades and renovations to Clark Henry Park
  • Street improvements
  • Rehabilitating sanitary sewer lines
