1. The Texas Department of Transportation is adding a raised median to Hwy. 105 between FM 2854 in Montgomery and I-45, along with pavement widening, traffic signals and pavement markings. The project that’s been in the works since October 2021 was 85% completed as of a June 6 update from TxDOT, the latest available.

2. A TxDOT project is underway to reconstruct and widen a portion of Hwy. 105 east of Conroe. The project, taking place between South Loop 336 and FM 1484, will widen the road from two to four lanes. It was 13% completed as of a June 6 update from TxDOT.

3. The widening project on FM 1097 between Lake Conroe Hills Drive and Blueberry Hills Road was 22% completed as of a June 6 update from TxDOT. The project widens FM 1097 in Willis from two to four lanes with a continuous left turn lane. Another $14.86 million widening project on FM 1097 between Anderson Road and Lake Conroe Hills Drive is 99% complete.

4. TxDOT crews are working on an overlay project on FM 2854 between Hwy. 105 and the San Jacinto River. The project, which was 23% completed as of a June 6 update, includes repairing the road surface and adding turn lanes at Hwy. 105 and Collier Cemetery, Deer Lake Lodge and Ponderosa roads.
