The Texas Department of Transportation has announced an upcoming closure of I-45 southbound main lanes in Conroe this weekend beginning June 2.

The southbound main lanes at South Loop 336 will be closed from 9 p.m. June 2 to 5 a.m. June 5, according to TxDOT. Drivers can detour via the frontage road but should expect traffic delays.

The lane closure is due to road repairs, according to TxDOT.
