In five of the eight Conroe and Montgomery-area ZIP codes, the median home price saw a decrease year over year in December. 77318 saw the largest decrease of 16.67%—going from $360,000 to $299,990.
Of the homes that sold in November in Conroe and Montgomery, 53.6% of them were priced between $250,000-$499,999.
Also of noteIn four of the eight ZIP codes in the Conroe and Montgomery area, the average time homes spent on the market increased year over year in December. The ZIP code 77301 saw the largest percentage increase of 65.6%—with homes going from spending an average of 61 days to an average of 101 days on the market.
