Meals on Wheels of Montgomery County named Carrie Watkins as president and CEO effective immediately, according to a June 11 news release.

Watkins replaces Summer Day, who served as president and CEO for the past seven years.

Watkins has experience in nonprofit management and a deep commitment to serving the community, according to the news release.

Watkins joined Meals on Wheels in September 2015 and served as a member of the board of directors until October 2018, when she began serving as community development director, according to her Linkedin.



Watkins is a past co-chair of In the Pink of Health, which benefits Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, according to the news release.
