Family Promise of Montgomery County will host its inaugural Night Without A Bed on June 20 to raise awareness about children and families struggling with homelessness.

The Conroe-based nonprofit is encouraging Montgomery County families to give up their beds June 20 to raise awareness about the homelessness crisis. Families are encouraged to sleep in tents or sleeping bags and post photos online using #NightWithoutABed.

Family Promise helps families dealing with homelessness by hosting them with local faith communities and providing them with not only meals and other necessities but lessons in budgeting, parenting and stress management for 90 days. 936-441-8778. www.familypromiseofmc.org
