The candle and soap shop Almost August will host its grand opening Aug. 27 on Main Street in Conroe, owner Kernita Heard confirmed to Community Impact Newspaper.
Heard said she handcrafts all the store’s products, which include soaps, candles, body butter, scrunchies and lounge attire.
“As a consumer myself, I never had the time to go to a spa or pamper myself, even when I could afford it, and started making items that I could enjoy in home,” Heard said.
