The Ark Church in Conroe celebrates 25 years, gifts Lone Star Family Health Center $5,000

The Ark Church in Conroe, located at 450 Humble Tank Road, is celebrating its 25th anniversary and has gifted Lone Star Family Health Center with a $5,000 donation, according to a June 14 news release from the center. Because of the donation, the health center is able to provide 200 visits at no cost at its Grangerland location. 936-756-1988. www.thearkchurch.com
A demographic report completed this spring by demographics firm Population and Survey Analysts projects Montgomery ISD’s enrollment will grow more than 45% in 10 years. As a result, the district is beginning discussions for a possible May 2022 bond election, district officials said.
“[The COVID-19 outbreak] is coming at the worst time for us because it’s a bad distemper year,” MCAS Assistant Director Mark Wysocki said. “Either of those are a bit of managerial work. Together it’s a managerial nightmare.”
