Candidate filling period now open for May 3 elections in Conroe, Montgomery

Those interested in running for local elected positions can now apply to run for several Conroe- and Montgomery-area municipal and school board positions. The election is slated for May 3.

The details

The filing period runs from Jan. 15 to Feb. 14. In Conroe and Montgomery, the positions up for election in May are:

Montgomery City Council, Position 1

• This position is held by Carol Langley.

• This position is vacant.

• This position is held by Stan Donaldson.

• This position is held by Matt Fuller.

• This position is held by Nate Robb.

Candidates interested in filling for the May 3 election can get an application from the Texas Secretary of State’s website and file with the respective city secretary or at the MISD administration building located at 20774 Eva St., Montgomery.
