May 4: Attend a concert in Conroe

Conroe’s concert series will feature a Kenny Chesney tribute by Barefoot Nation. The event will include on-site food trucks, and outside food and drinks will be allowed. Glass containers are prohibited.

May 5: Celebrate Cinco De Mayo

The Table at Madeley will be hosting a Cinco De Mayo Tejano two-step. The event will include a live DJ, and food and drink specials. Guests will have room to dance under oak trees and fellowship with other guests.

May 6: Catch a boat festival

SMG Boats is hosting its seventh annual Bugs n Boats festival in Conroe. The event will include food, drinks and family-friendly activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to test drive new 2023 boat models, watch water sports demonstrations, shop vendors, listen to live music, enjoy inflatables, and participate in games and raffles.May 7: Run for hunger


The Montgomery County Food Bank’s annual Outrun Hunger event will include a 5K Trail Run and a 1K Color Dash in Conroe. The event’s proceeds benefit the Montgomery County Food Bank’s programs for children, senior citizens and families facing hunger in Montgomery County. Guests can also enjoy live music, photo ops, a kids zone and vendors as part of the day’s event.

May 13: Attend a choir performance

The Montgomery County Choral Society is hosting a concert that will be Schubert and Sherbet themed with a performance of Schubert’s “Mass in G Major” in collaboration with the College Park High School Choral Department. In addition, there will be a Broadway medley. A reception will follow.

May 13: Catch a movie in Montgomery

The city of Montgomery will be hosting a movie night at the park with the movie “Coco” in May. The city will also allow local vendors to sell food items during the duration of the movie.

May 14: Attend a market at Margaritaville
