Why are you running for office?

I’m running to change the narrative. Put people over politics and bring real solutions from the classroom to the Capitol. Too many voices go unheard. I’m stepping up to serve, not sit back.

What would your top priorities be if elected?

My top priorities are rooted in the people I’ve spent my life serving; strengthening our public schools, making sure teachers are supported, classrooms are resourced, and every child, including students with disabilities, has a real opportunity to succeed.

What are the biggest challenges facing District 4?

Rising property taxes, infrastructure strain, flood risk, and access to quality education and healthcare. Families are being stretched, our policies need to catch up with reality.

How will you ensure your district is prepared for extreme weather and flooding?

Invest in drainage, flood mitigation, and resilient infrastructure. Strengthen local partnerships and proactive planning. We can’t keep reacting, we must prepare.

If elected, what will your priorities be regarding property taxes and housing affordability?

Relieve the burden on homeowners by properly funding schools at the state level. Families shouldn’t be priced out of the communities they built.

Why are you running for office?

I’m running to continue serving the people of Texas by bringing experienced, conservative leadership to the State Senate. After nearly two decades protecting public safety as District Attorney, I will bring that same fight to Austin to protect taxpayers, strengthen border security, and defend the values that make Texas strong.

What would your top priorities be if elected?

My top priorities are property tax relief, stronger border security, protecting Texas’ conservative values, and public safety. Public safety doesn’t end at law enforcement. Texans should feel safe in their homes from devastating floodwaters, which is why flood mitigation is critical to protecting our communities.

What are the biggest challenges facing District 4?

Rapid population growth is placing pressure on infrastructure, flood control systems, and public safety resources. At the same time, rising property taxes continue to burden families. District 4 needs strong leadership to manage growth responsibly while protecting taxpayers and maintaining the quality of life residents expect.

How will you ensure your district is prepared for extreme weather and flooding?

Flood mitigation must remain a priority. I support sustained investment in drainage infrastructure, regional watershed planning, and responsible development standards. The state must work with local leaders to ensure flood control projects are completed efficiently so homes, businesses, and roads are better protected during severe weather events.
