The overview
Education foundation members, district administrators and local sponsors visited the district’s 11 campuses to award 32 educator grants on Jan. 10, according to the MISD blog post. Thirteen additional district-wide grants and fellowships were also awarded earlier in the 2024-25 school year.
“We always look forward to surprising our educators and providing them with the tools and experiences they know will make a big difference in their classrooms and on their campuses,” Education Foundation Executive Director Tiffany Ortiz said via the MISD post. “We could not do this without the incredible support of our community partners and are delighted that so many of them were able to ride along with us today to be part of the celebration.”
In early 2024, the MISD Education Foundation awarded $75,000 worth of grants, as previously reported by Community Impact.
