Camila's Tex-Mexi-Que, located at 1245 Grand Central Parkway, opened May 15 in Conroe. General Manager Michael Pacheco said the restaurant's goal is to take the best of Tex-Mex and blend it with Texas craft barbecue.
"We have brisket-smoked enchiladas, birria tacos with brisket and Tex-Mex classics with a twist," he said. "We also make our tortillas homemade, and our sauces are made from scratch. Nothing comes from a can."
Pacheco said house favorites include brisket enchiladas, traditional fajitas, pit-smoked chicken and the smoked brisket birria tacos. The menu also includes quesadillas, carnitas and burgers as well as barbecue plates, desserts and cocktails. www.camilastexmexique.com
