Herand’s Kitchen, a casual Persian and Mediterranean restaurant in the Heights, has closed.
What happened
Herand's Kitchen was known for flavorful Persian-Mediterranean fusions such as kabobs, saffron rice, tzatziki and falafels.
The owners announced Sept. 22 on their social media that the restaurant would close after less than three years. However, the post did not share a reason for closure.
"After much thought, Herand has decided that the time is right to step away from the restaurant and begin a new chapter," the post read. "We are immensely proud of everything Herand’s Kitchen accomplished and grateful for the friendships, memories and wonderful moments created along the way."
