“The owners of Waterpoint had a vision for an upscale cocktail bar in this area,” he said in an interview. “There was a women's boutique and ice cream shop in the space we now occupy, but the bar ties in well with the surrounding restaurants.”
The cocktail menu at Bar Lago offers specialty drinks, such as the Summer Spice Margarita, which includes cucumber jalapeno tequila, fresh lime juice and passionfruit; Lake Water, a cocktail mixed with Casamigos blanco tequila, lime juice, Topo Chico and Tajin; and the Aperol spritz mixed with Aperol, prosecco, Grey Goose vodka and club soda.
Although Petrone said the business does not operate as a full restaurant, bite-size options are available, including truffle fries, cilantro-lime chicken tacos, and fish and shrimp ceviche.
