Montgomery County will host a master-plan open house for Fish Creek Regional Park on Nov. 28, Montgomery County Precinct 2 Commissioner Charlie Riley announced via Facebook.

Fish Creek Regional Park is a planned 391-acre park located off the Fish Creek thoroughfare near the Woodforest community, according to Precinct 2’s website.
Construction on the infrastructure for the park is expected to begin in 2024, Community Impact previously reported. The park is planned to feature amenities such as sports fields, a nature center, a community building, soccer fields, and pickleball and tennis courts.

The park is estimated to cost $30 million-$75 million and will be funded through a combination of public and private funding, according to prior reporting.
