The Signorelli Co. is bringing more than 850 homes to Conroe with the April 26 groundbreaking of Cielo, a 256-acre single-family community. Located off Airport Road, the first homesites are expected to be available in late 2023.

Developer The Signorelli Co. first announced plans for the community in April 2022.

Cielo will include 40-, 45- and 50-foot-wide homesites along with 45 acres of preserved green space, lakes and community amenities, according to an April 26 news release from The Signorelli Co.

“With a natural connection to Montgomery County’s open skies and lush wooded surroundings, Cielo will offer highly desirable, amenity-rich living for families in North Houston,” said Jeff Dewese, senior vice president of the land division for The Signorelli Co., in the release.

The Cielo community will also be home to Bartlett Elementary, a new Conroe ISD elementary school slated to open in fall 2024, according to the release.

Homebuilders and prices are still to be announced.
