Camillo Properties broke ground in July on the first section of its planned housing community at Mackenzie Creek, which will bring over 200 rental homes to southeast Conroe when fully built out. Mackenzie Creek is an existing community shared with Legend Homes, located off S. Loop 336 E.

Although homes are under construction for retail sales as well, the ones built by Camillo will be for rent.

For Camillo Properties, the first phase of the development will have one- and two-story options, with square footage from 1,307 to 2,247. Prices will range from $1,375 to $1,900 per month, and move-ins are expected in late 2020, according to Camillo.

The leasing office is now open at 3428 Cannon Court, Conroe. The community has a playground, a gazebo and a community pool.
