Taste The Asian goes from food truck to brick-and-mortar in Conroe

Taste The Asian expanded in Conroe with a brick-and-mortar location.

The restaurant is a Pan-Asian fusion street food concept from Kahlia Cheng, whose family owns Dragon Bowl C.

"When they moved to a new location, my parents encouraged me to continue the legacy at this spot. Keeping the business here was important to us—it’s a way to stay rooted in the community that supported us from day one," Cheng said.

Taste The Asian started as a food truck in 2019.

"This new brick-and-mortar is not just an expansion—it’s a continuation of our family story and a way for me to honor my parents’ wishes to keep the spirit of Dragon Bowl C alive at this location," Cheng said.
