After reaching the milestone in 2023, Conroe First Assembly of God is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a service March 3, Communications Director Chelsea Flynn confirmed via email Feb. 14.

“We will have a special service to commemorate our 100-year anniversary, and Pastor Choco De Jesus will be speaking,” Flynn said. “After [the] service, we will have a reception to continue the celebration.”

Flynn said anyone who has ever attended or been connected to the church is invited to the celebration.

“We started as a small church who felt like family, and while many things have changed over the years, that family atmosphere has remained,” Flynn said. “Our lead pastors, Ernest and Sharon Fridge, are still carrying that vision throughout their ministry today. We are more than a congregation, we are a family.”
