Updated 2:05 p.m. March 18: The Lake Conroe Region Outlook is scheduled for Nov. 6, according to a Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce newsletter.

The annual Lake Conroe Regional Outlook has been rescheduled, though a new date has not been set. The conference, which examines business trends and growth in the Lake Conroe area, was originally scheduled for April 30.

Shannan Reid, director of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, said the conference's organizers will reconvene in June in order to incorporate the effects of the coronavirus outbreak on the local businesses.

"So when we come back for the Lake Conroe Region Outlook, it is going to be more relevant than ever, because we want to specifically tell this story," Reid said.

Reid said new speakers will be added to the lineup to specifically talk about the outbreak's effects.
