The LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch mixed-use complex in Katy has been sold. Woody Mann Jr., president of Vista Equities Group, said in an email Monday that he could not disclose the new owner's name or when the sale was made due to a confidentiality agreement. As of Oct. 9, Fort Bend County records did not list a new deed of sale for the property, which is located at the southwest corner of Cinco Ranch Boulevard and the Grand Parkway. LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch LLC, which is listed at Vista's offices in Houston, owns three properties at the site, including two retail holdings and a commercial building. Collectively, the three holdings measure 28.3 acres and were last valued at $72.1 million, according to the Fort Bend Central Appraisal District. LaCenterra was constructed in four phases, the last of which encompasses 44,500 square feet and is expected to be complete in the spring. Phase 4 includes a new Alamo Drafthouse movie theater and five-level parking garage. The Memphis, Tennessee-based Poag Shopping Centers is listed as the property manager for LaCenterra. Poag operates "lifestyle centers" comprised of retail and dining establishments in 11 states, includes The Spectrum in Pearland. Messages left for Poag were not immediately returned. Several tenants at LaCenterra said they were notified on or before Sept. 29 that the property had been sold, it was under new management and no other changes have been implemented at the complex due to the sale.
