Co-owners Cody Walton and A.J. Royal brought the fast-paced drive-thru coffee shop experience all the way from Oregon when they opened DeNovo Coffee in Spring in June. But it has taken little time for the coffee shop owners’ concept to draw a faithful following.
“Coming from where we’ve come from and not knowing anyone here and getting embraced by the community has been uplifting and positive for us,” Royal said.
DeNovo offers an array of coffee beverages, including mochas, lattes and breves, as well as smoothies, shakes and raptors, or distinctive energy drinks, Walton said. Customers can order beverages hot or iced.
“We even [make] things that are off the menu—if there’s a latte or a mocha, we can certainly do it,” Walton said.
Since opening this summer, DeNovo has even added food, serving an assortment of granola, doughnuts and kolaches, Walton said. The duo is working on a cold brew and their own house coffee blend.
Walton and Royal are planning to open more locations in Tomball and The Woodlands. The Tomball site could open as early as February.
