Hurricane Harry's
After closing in 2024, the dance hall has been reopened in the Northgate District, Community Impact previously reported. It reopened in the former Shiner Park location, which shut its doors last fall.
Coming soonGypsy Waltz
The workout studio offers yoga and cycling classes, among other options. Construction was slated to begin at the Shops at Hudson Oaks last December and is scheduled to be finished by the end of March, according to filings from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Dave & Buster'sThe business, which features a full bar and video game arcade, will open a location at Post Oak Mall. Filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show the project should last through the fall of this year.
ClosingsReadfield Meats & Deli
While new ownership could take over the business, the owners are planning to retire. Originally opened in the 1960s, the Ruffino brothers took over the business from their parents, an employee with the business told Community Impact.
Perrine WineryThe business is closing its Texas location and relocating to Virginia, Community Impact previously reported. Co-owner Beth Perrine said she and her husband will help their daughter open a new location in Portsmouth. After 15 years, the couple said they plan to retire.
