Vans, a skate shop and skatewear brand, officially closed its Post Oak Mall storefront in College Station on July 18 after being in the mall for almost 15 years.

During its last week in business, the store was offering discounts to patrons on shoes, clothes and accessories. According to a spokesperson from Vans, the store is shipping its unsold inventory to other locations. The spokesperson also mentioned that economic uncertainties are a factor in closing the storefront.
Vans isn’t the only storefront to be shut down this summer, with Asian restaurant Manchu Wok shutting its doors at the end of May.
