Look out for this I-610 Loop/I-69 ramp closure this weekend, Dec. 13-16

The Texas Department of Transportation is alerting motorists to closures that could affect holiday shopping trips this weekend.

The northbound and southbound ramps from I-610 to I-69 southbound will be totally closed starting at 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 until 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16. Traffic will be diverted to I-69 north, then to the Weslayan Street exit. From there, drivers will have to U-turn at Weslayan onto I-69's southbound frontage road until the next available on-ramp.

The I-610 north and southbound frontage roads will have one lane closed from Post Oak Road to Woodway Drive from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.

The I-610 southbound entrance ramp from Westheimer Road will be closed overnight from Friday, Dec. 13 through Dec. 19.
