Beginning April 20 until April 24, City of Bellaire will thank its residents for abiding by Harris County’s Stay Home, Work Safe order in a more personal, face-to-face way with daily two-hour tours throughout the city.

“We invite you out to your yard, to your driveway, and through your window to wave to us as we wave back to you and give you thanks for the work that you are doing for the Stay Home Work Safe order,” said Deacon Tittel, Bellaire’s emergency management coordinator in a video to Bellaire residents released on April 15.

Bellaire’s fire, police, and public works departments will be participating from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following days:

  • Monday, April 20: South of Bellaire Blvd./East of 610

  • Tuesday, April 21: South of Bellaire Blvd./West of 610

  • Wednesday, April 22: North of Bellaire Blvd./West of 610

  • Thursday, April 23: North of Bellaire Blvd./East of 610

  • Friday, April 24: South of Bellaire Blvd./West of S. Rice
