Sugared + Bronzed is gearing up to open its fourth location in Houston—right in the heart of Rice Village.
The popular shopping center has seen a few new body and care services open in recent months, including Glo30, a skincare studio that uses AI to create custom treatment plans.
What we know
Sugared + Bronzed is a destination for spray tans and sugaring. Founded in 2010 in Santa Monica, the company aims to be a one-stop shop for people preparing for vacations, weddings and red carpet events, according to its website.
The store has locations across California, New York, Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas. The Times Boulevard location will be the fourth to open in Houston, with the other three spread out in Montrose, the Heights and Uptown Park.
How it works
Guests can book services for sugaring and/or airbrush tanning. Sugaring is a form of hair removal that uses sugar, lemon and water to gently remove hair. It is often considered to be less harsh than traditional waxing, according to the website.
The store also offers airbrush tanning, a process that includes a precision airbrush that workers use by hand to mist onto a client's skin.
Before you go
The new Rice Village store will officially open its doors on Feb. 16, a representative from the brand confirmed.
