Dallas-based, nonmedical caregiving service Cambridge Caregivers soft opened a new office in Bellaire this July to support the growing demand for in-home care services, per a news release from the company.

The details

In addition to nursing care and assisted living, the company's caregiving services include:
  • Personal assistance
  • Companionship
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Transportation and basic errands
  • Post-op care
The Bellaire location of the company, which officially opens Aug. 1, is the latest in a series of planned openings throughout Texas and beyond, per the release. Cambridge's Chief Operating Officer Ernie Cote said in a statement they will open multiple offices across Greater Houston in 2025.

The family-owned company employs 225 caregivers who are offered 42 paid training sessions throughout the year.

Why it matters

According to the release, Cambridge Caregivers supports a growing caregiving gap that have occurred due to the population trending older, fewer children in families, and families spread out geographically.

“Demographically, the numbers are there for Cambridge Caregivers to continue to grow,” CEO Adam Lampert said in the release. “More importantly, the need is there. As we expand, we can continue to serve even more families.”
