The fourth Houston-area location of Slowpokes Coffee will open Nov. 28 within the city of West University Place at 6725 Stella Link Road.

The new location will feature the same menu as other sites, including a full coffee bar with specialty drinks, breakfast, lunch, snacks and a happy hour menu. Coffee options include espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, flat whites, Americanos and house brews, among others. Seasonal options coming soon include the peppermint mocha latte and the campfire latte.

The 50-seat coffee bar will also include a dog-friendly front patio. Slowpokes also offers a selection of wines, Houston-brewed beers and food from local vendors, including Michael’s Cookie Jar and Walking Stick Brewing Co.

In-house food ranges from the breakfast biscuit to the brie croissant and also includes a selection of breakfast tacos, sandwiches, salads and flatbreads.

“It’s been incredible to see how the local community has shaped each of our locations into something unique, and we’re really excited to see what that means for our friends here in West [University],” Slowpokes owner and Houstonian Mazen Baltagi said in a statement.

Slowpokes was founded by Baltagi in 2016. Other Slowpokes locations can be found in Kirby Grove, Garden Oaks/Oak Forest and at the company's flagship Spring Branch spot, where beans are roasted in-house and cold brew is bottled.
