What you need to know
According to a March 4 news release, "Jurassic Giants" will feature 60 new dinosaurs, including allosaurus, herrerasaurus and mamenchisaurus, and will offer visitors a chance to trek through a lush forest trail to see the prehistoric giants.
The exhibit, which will be on-site from March 7 to Sept. 1, will also feature an interactive dig site and an opportunity for photos.
Something to note
Ticket prices vary per day, but value pass holders will receive unlimited excursions through the "Jurassic Giants" exhibit, general zoo admission, a souvenir conservation bracelet and unlimited carousel rides.
According to the Houston Zoo website, a portion of all admission tickets will help support wildlife-saving efforts around the world.
