MD Anderson Cancer Center previously announced all outpatient locations will be closed for in-person appointments and procedures Jan. 21-22.
Houston Methodist hospitals are all open, according to the hospital system. Houston Methodist announced on its website Jan. 21 it expects to resume elective procedures, outpatient imaging and testing at 1 p.m. Jan. 22, barring a “significant weather change.” The Houston Methodist website also states that doctor appointments scheduled for 1 p.m. or later on Jan. 22 will be in person or changed to virtual depending on weather and road conditions, and patients should check with their individual physicians’ offices. Clinics and imaging centers were scheduled to reopen at 1 p.m. Jan. 22.
Memorial Hermann listed information on its website about locations planning to open late Jan. 22, as well as what locations will be closed on Jan. 22. In addition, Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care locations will be closed for in-person visits but open for virtual appointments, according to its website.
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic announced on its website all clinic locations will be closed Jan. 22, as well as ambulatory surgery centers, cancer centers, pharmacy and medical/mobile services. A determination about Jan. 23 will be made as more information become available, according to the website.
St. Luke's Health announced in a Jan. 21 news release that its outpatient and clinic appointments are rescheduled for the morning of Jan. 22. Patients are asked to reach out to their physicians’ offices. St. Luke’s emergency rooms and hospitals, officials said.
