Houston-Galveston Area Council, or H-GAC, will be hosting a public meeting for League City residents Dec. 3 to discuss its regional safety action plan.

The overview

The safety action plan will be used to "help communities reduce severe crashes and make everyday travel safer for everyone," according to a Nov. 21 news flash from League City.

The plan will look at regional trends and show strategies that supports safer streets for drivers, walkers and bicyclists, according to the news flash.

Residents are encouraged to participate, learn more and share feedback at the meeting.

The public meeting will be open-house style from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center, located at 400 W. Walker St., League City.
