Fewer homes overall were sold in the Bay area in April compared to the same month last year. Four of the area's ZIP codes saw decreases.
Housing prices across the Bay Area's five ZIP codes varied, with three seeing decreases ranging from around 5% and 16%. Two saw increases, which also ranged in size.
There was little consistency in the median number of days a home sat on the market in April compared to the same month last year. While one saw a decrease of 86%, others saw the number of days double or decline slightly. One ZIP code also saw a decline of around 36%.
Most homes in the area were sold between the price point of $200,000 and $399,999, according to the data. The remaining bulk were between $400,000 and $599,999.
