The background

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic was founded in March 1949 by Mavis P. Kelsey, who opened an office in the Texas Medical Center after training at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, per the release. The clinic has focused on evidence-based, multispecialty care since its inception.

The clinic's 75-year legacy shows the focus has always been to put the patient at the center of all they do, Chief Medical Officer Donnie Aga said in the release.

“We have built a strong foundation that has allowed us to innovate and bring programs and services that help patients stay well, prevent and manage chronic conditions, and access care at the appropriate site of care,” Aga said in a statement.
