The overview

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is a full-service hospital that offers inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and specialty services in the Bay Area, according to the release.

The STS star rating system is “one of the most sophisticated and highly regarded overall measures of quality in health care,” the release reads. The star rating system is measured through specific procedures performed by an STS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database participant.

According to the release, a three-star rating was awarded to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake due to patient care and outcomes in isolated coronary artery bypass grafting procedures, also known as a heart bypass surgery.
