The facility aims to address residents' concerns about long wait times in the ER and offers a streamlined process for acute medical needs, according to a May 25 news release from hospital officials.
“Many people put off seeking critical medical care because they worry about long waits in the emergency room,” Houston Methodist Clear Lake CEO Carl Little said in the release. “This new facility brings Houston Methodist quality closer to where residents live and work, offering a more streamlined process for serving people with acute medical needs.”
The 24-hour center provides comprehensive services, including on-site labs and imaging, in private treatment rooms.
