The details
League City is asking residents to share their thoughts about how they want the city to grow and develop with a digital survey that officials hope will help guide how the city updates its plans related to economic development, according to a June 1 news flash from the city.
The survey takes five minutes to complete and includes questions such as:
- How important is it to you for the city to balance how much residents are taxed compared to businesses?
- How do you feel about the current shopping and dining offerings in League City?
- How much should League City focus on attracting new businesses as compared with retaining existing businesses?
“League City is highly ranked every year both in Texas and the nation as one of the most desirable communities in which to live and raise a family,” Scott Livingston, director of economic development said in a video created by the city. “To keep League City as an attractive and highly desirable community, it is important that we regularly update our economic development strategic plan.”
What happens next?
The survey will close Aug. 1 and the city will officially update the plan in the fall, according to the city’s website.
