Equipment replacements, a sidewalk improvement project and a new mater mobility plan update are some of the items League City City Council will take a vote on at its Oct. 22 meeting.

The specifics

Both public works and public safety in League City could get some upgrades in the form of new equipment and vehicles, according to agenda documents. City Council is expected to vote on the following items:
  • Six vehicles for public safety totaling around $480,000
  • A Ford F-150 police responder vehicle with emergency equipment totaling around $69,000
  • A tractor for public works totaling around $161,000
  • 13 other replacement vehicles totaling $853,000
Among the number of purchases, City Council will also vote on a sidewalk improvement project for Main Street totaling $512,000, according to agenda documents.

Also on the agenda

City Council will vote on an update for its master mobility plan, which, according to city documents, is more than 100 pages and lays out a number of recommendations and projects related to transportation around the city.
