Memorial Day Weekend in Pearland

Pearland residents can attend five events across four days featuring a live concert, beer brewed in Pearland, a wine fest and an open mic event to end the weekend.Kemah Boardwalk Memorial Day Pass

This three-day pass gives visitors access to rides at Kemah Boardwalk, Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier and the Downtown Aquarium. Guests can also visit restaurants, shopping centers and attractions.

Memorial Day Observance


The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission is hosting an observance to honor fallen veterans. Live music and readings will be some of the activities offered.Poker Run

The Houston chapter of the American Veterans Motorcycle Club is hosting a poker run to support the community and those who served the nation. Participants will ride to five stations and build their poker hand for the chance to win a grand prize. All proceeds will go to benefit veterans and their families.

Memorial Day in The Woodlands

Residents can celebrate the start of summer at the annual Memorial Day in The Woodlands event, which honors military men and women who lost their lives while serving the country. The festival, which will be held at Town Green Park, will feature live music, children's activities, strolling entertainment and a fireworks display.Memorial Day Hero Salute

Members of the community can participate in this charity event at the Town Center Park in Kingwood to honor the men and women who lost their lives while serving. Harris County Precinct 3 is hosting a remembrance ceremony at the Collins Park Veterans Memorial to honor those who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Murph Challenge

Residents can join U.S. House member Morgan Luttrell at Candy Cane Park at this annual event, which includes a 1-mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 pushups, 300 squats and another mile run.Memorial Day Ceremony at Houston National Cemetery

Houston National Cemetery will host a Memorial Day ceremony to commemorate veterans. The event will include a keynote speaker.Friendswood’s Annual Memorial Day Celebration

This celebration at the Veteran’s Memorial monument will offer live music, guest speakers, presentations and photos following the ceremony. Unlike previous years, it’s suggested guests bring their own chairs.Tomball Walmart Memorial Day Program


Residents can enjoy refreshments while joining Tomball Walmart in honoring veterans alongside local Boy Scout troop 113, Tomball ISD Leaders of Tomorrow Club and Klein Cain Army Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps.Memorial Day Ceremony

Sugar Land leaders will pay tribute to fallen soldiers in this ceremony at Sugar Land Memorial Park, including the Sugar Land Police Department Honor Guard. The event will feature live music from the Lone Star Symphonic Band, a military flyover, speeches, military-related vendor booths, food trucks and a free shuttle service from Brazos River Park.
